About Andrew Phillips
Mr. Phillips was previously Group Financial Controller for Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ‘ALL’), Finance Director of Aristocrat (NZ) Limited, Executive Director for The Recovre Group Pty Ltd (a former division of Allianz Insurance) and CFO and Executive Director for Hoya Lens Australia Pty Ltd and Hoya Lens NZ Ltd ( a subsidiary of Tokyo listed Hoya Corporation (TSE:’77410′)).
Since 2008 he has held ASX directorships and/or Company Secratary positions with:
- HLI Ltd (ASX: “HLI”);
- The Beauty Health Group Ltd (ASX: “BHG”);
- Connxion Ltd (ASX: “CXN”);
- MDS Financial Group Ltd (ASX: “MWS”);
- Sequoia Financial Group Ltd (ASX: “SEQ”);

- Dateline Resources Ltd (ASX: “DTR”); and
- Crestal Petroleum Ltd (ASX: “CRX”);
Mr. Phillips is a graduate of Massey University, New Zealand.

In addition he currently serves as a director of a number of Australian proprietary registered companies acting on behalf of a number of overseas entities as their local director or public officer. This allows these Australian registered companies to comply with the Corporation Act 2001 whereas there is a requirement to engage a resident Australian director
Andrew enjoys spending time with his family – his wife of 30 years, Anna and his two adult children. He strives to balance his business life with a keen passion for the outdoors, being a keen snow skier and trout fly fisherman… when time permits! In addition, he is a weekend volunteer life guard with North Bondi Surf Club. On the business side, he is a Director for the Australian–Chile Business Council and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on society and the economy through governance education, director development and advocacy.
